Little Duco wakes up hungry in the middle of his hibernation. Tired of waiting for his family to get up, he leaves the cave in search of food. Surprised, he finds that the forest is covered with snow and ice. Though this will not be his biggest problem when he discovers the pact between winter and the greedy lumbermen to destroy the forest. Will Duco be able to stop this wicked plan?
Once the war is finished Michael receives a sheep in compensation for the services he has rendered the king. Unlike the other soldiers, he decides to care for his animal and to invest time and effort in it. In the course of time, his work will be rewarded and he will become the owner of a great flock. Miguel’s enterprising spirit and his effort are the principal motivating force of the story.
